When do we become sick of having our photos taken? This is my new grandson. He is one month old. All of his needs are met. All we ask of him is to be pleasant and smile for the relatives. But no…He already expresses himself with this baby sign language he is picking up from his brother.
I am an herbalist by training and through heredity. There are pockets on this planet where there are up to 200% above our current average of 70 to 80 species of plants per square mile. I am fortunate to live in an area where there are up to 125 species per square mile.
I am lucky to have such diversity . But one late night of insomnia I did a computer search for the place on earth with the most plant diversity per square mile and became awe struck at the protected forests and hill sides covered with as-of-yet unnumbered species that my search had turned up.
This natural Eden exists in the border lands between China and Thailand. And it is to this wonder of Nature’s ability to grow unfettered that I would like to visit most.
